Jon Nakapalau August 20, 2023Unfortunately (with the rise of active shooter events) learning to control bleeding is almost becoming as important as taking a CPR class. This is an excellent book on how to stop bleeding before trained personnel arrive on the scene. It not only teaches you to help others - you will also be able to stop your own bleeding if you need to. Very grim stuff - but information that you will wish you had if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need it. Consider giving this book to a son/daughter going to college or traveling to another country.

August 6, 2023Sad to say that this is a book that needs to be read. A very good overall view of active attacker situations and the best course of action to take if you ever find yourself in such a situation. The author has a lot of experience dealing with emergency situations. This would be a good book to read if you are trying to write a program for your workplace or group if you have safety/security responsibilities.
